It looks like those lucky fans/journalists who attended the Radio City Music Hall Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere (like our boy Mike Pursell did) weren’t the only ones with the good fortune of seeing the final season’s first episode early; apparently, a number of customers subscribed to AT&T’s DirecTV Now were granted access to the uber-popular HBO series’ first episode three hours early:
So this is season 8. I think @directvnow screwed up. But I get to watch @GameOfThrones 3 hours early. pic.twitter.com/j13hJL1its

This isn’t the first time Game of Thrones episodes have leaked early, but with only five episodes remaining in the season and what is sure to be plenty of narrative-altering, crucial events taking place — hopefully it’s the last.
Game of Thrones premieres tonight at 9PM EST on HBO.
