Hasbro reveals new Star Wars Black Series figures for Fan Appreciation Day

At 3:00 PM EST this afternoon, Hasbro showed its appreciation to Star Wars action figure fans by releasing a bounty of new products for pre-order across multiple fan sites.

We’ve collected all the reveals below along with links to the sites where they were exclusively revealed (and that will contain larger photo galleries if you’d like a better at a particular figure).

Let’s take a lot at what we’ll be adding to our shelves later this year:

The Mandalorian (Beskar Armor)

Thoughts: Nothing to debate here. This one is a definite buy (and will go great with my Black Series Baby Yoda/The Child)

Carbonized Boba Fett

Expected Release Date: June 2020. Pre-orders available now at your preferred online toy retailer.
Thoughts: Love the carbonized look, but I’m not sure if it’s enough to make me purchase the figure again. That said, I’m not sure my willpower will hold strong if I see this figure in person.

Carbonized Stormtrooper

Thoughts: Not really that psyched about yet another stormtrooper (I’m definitely more of a clone trooper guy), but this is a good looking figure.

Admiral Ackbar (Return of the Jedi)

Thoughts: FINALLY! While I love my Ackbar from The Last Jedi, this is the way I want to have him immortalized on my shelf.

Darth Vader (Empire Strikes Back)

Expected Release Date: Fall 2020
Thoughts: I’m more than happy with the Vader figures already on my shelf, but this is great for folks who missed out on the last release.

Teebo (Ewok) Figure

Thoughts: Not really a big Ewok fan myself, but this is a pretty cool looking figure for those who are.

Vintage Collection

There were also a couple “reveals” for the (criminally neglected) 3.75″ scale Vintage Collection, albeit products that we’ve already known about for some time.

Commander Wolffe

Thoughts: Despite owning multiple versions of Commander Wolffe, this is a new one. Combine my love for clones with how good this figure looks, and I’ll definitely be picking it up.
